ABOUT US
Hello, We're Jason and Emiko. As you may have guessed, Emiko's Japanese, and I'm English.
We work as a team on the e-shop. I do most of the listing and computer stuff and Emiko is in
charge of the searches ... and anything with Japanese language involved ... my Japanese is ...
well ... not great. However, we both try our best to find interesting bits and bobs to make the
shop fun, so we're forever out buying, selling, and hunting for treasure and goodies.

After some success last year, we decided to take the Internet trading a step further and open a
basic e-store, which may expand into something bigger yet if it proves popular. We'll be
grateful for the support and hope to build a regular customer base. So, if you purchase
something from us here's a big thanks to you. We really appreciate your custom.
We're both busy with other things too. Emiko is a
full-time teacher and works with children who have
learning disabilities, and I also run a small private
English school. Most of my days are free, as I work
mainly in the evenings, so I have time to focus on
the e-shop. Emiko does her bit in the evenings while
I'm out teaching. At the weekends we work together
and have lots of fun hunting for stuff.
In my former life, before coming to Japan, I used to be an
archaeologist and worked on many excavations. I was lucky
enough to have lived in some interesting places ... Russia,
for one ... and to have met some great people on the way.
Anyhow, I think hunting and searching for odd things is in
my blood, so the e-shop offers quite a lot of satisfaction in
that respect. It's like archaeology without the dirt :o)
Anyway, the nuts and bolts of it is that we hope we can find
stuff that
you really want. Please, don't be afraid to ask. If
we can find it we'll list it in the e-shop or sell it direct. Say,
for example, you're Japanese, living abroad, and you can't
find your favourite magazine ... we'll get it for you.
So, now you know a little more about the people you'd be
dealing with, which always makes things go smoother. We
really hope you'll enjoy what we provide, and be happy
buying stuff from us. We'll be updating and adding to the
site and the shop constantly, so if you're interested, please
keep an eye open for changes. Feel free to contact us any
time. Best wishes,

Jason and Emi.
